Music
I enjoy listening to music as well as playing. I started playing guitar at the age of 13 when my father bought me a guitar for Christmas. It was a $39 KMart special. I have since upgraded and now have a small collection of guitars including a Larrivee, Taylor, Seagull and Epiphone Starburst. I mostly play acoustic and enjoy playing Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls and Alice in Chains tunes.

Horseback Riding
I have wanted to own a horse ever since I was about 11 and read every horse book I could get my hands on. Black Beauty, The Black Stallion, and many others. Of course, many girls about this age go through this horse-crazy stage, but some of us never outgrow it. When I was in college, I took horseback riding to meet other people who liked horses. I discovered that although I like riding and horse shows, I really love eventing, where you compete in three different areas: cross-country, stadium jumping, and dressage.

Skiing
Actually, I'm a pretty average skier. It hasn't been that long since we moved to Colorado from Ohio, so I'm doing pretty well considering how new I am to the sport. I got a new pair of skis this year and can hardly wait to get back on the slopes to check them out. All my friends also ski so this makes it much more enjoyable for me. Of course Colorado is Ski Country USA so I guess I really have to ski if I want to live here.
